Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Project Planner to serve as the critical link between our customers, sales team, and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing customer project timelines, monitoring capacity, and helping ensure on-time delivery of castings and related products.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate and schedule production activities across multiple departments to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.
- Monitor production progress, identify scheduling conflicts, and implement recovery plans when needed.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to establish realistic customer promise dates and production plans.
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
- Track inventory levels and assist with inventory control initiatives to minimize shortages and excess stock.
- Utilize ERP systems to monitor shop orders, production data, and workflow status.
- Develop and distribute production capacity and load reports.
- Communicate project updates and delivery schedules to customers, supervisors, and leadership teams.
- Partner with department managers to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, project coordination, or foundry experience.
